We're looking for a General Manager with 20
years experience in manufacturing and the housing industry, you will manage a staff of 110 people and produce over 100m in finished product per year.
Responsibilities Set up an assembly line to mass produce new homes Designate departments and hire managers.
Manage materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics in support of organizational goals and objectives Coordinate teams to execute quality control and meet deadlines Daily meetings with engineers and staff.
Daily shipping to customers Inventory control Regular overseas trips to our other plants Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labor utilization throughout the facility Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment Required skills and qualifications 25 or more years of experience in plant operations and home manufacturing.
Proven skills in leadership and supervision Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business, engineering, or related field Experience in international business operations Monday - Friday 8:
